Istanbul is a city of contrasts, straddling the Bosphorus strait between Europe and Asia, it is both a modern city and an ancient one at the same time. We spent two days there exploring the blue mosque, the hippodrome, the underground water cistern and the bazaars. We also had an evening cruise on the Bosphorus with dinner and entertainment watching the illuminated buildings pass by.
