Zakopane

Zakopane is a popular mountain resort town in southern Poland located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, famous as the country's main destination for winter sports and alpine hiking. Unfortunately the town itself is now crowded with tourists and souvenir shops, a victim of its own success. Nearby is a ski jump.
